Adobe not responding too often

Follow the steps below to prevent adobe from lagging and getting stuck at not responding often:

Go into Preferences (in the Top left Menu) and disable enhanced security. (no checkbox on Enable Enhanced security)

Disable any online storage under the general settings. (No checkbox for "Show online storage...)
